My name is Jens Madsen a photographer & graphic designer from Sweden.
I was working as a freelance photographer & graphic designer until I found this lovely place in Kyoto.
I’m now the main photographer and photo retoucher here in the studio, been working here since the start of the studio and I love this place!
From now on you will be seeing me writing posts here on our blog, will also post some of my photos of our beautiful customers from all around the world.

When you come here to the studio I’m also one out of two staff who speaks English, so don’t worry about not knowing Japanese.
Even if all the staff don’t know English too well they are all friendly and helpful, I have also been teaching them some basics for your guys.

So what is Oiran and the studio photo shoot experience we got here?
Don`t mistake Oiran for Maiko or Geiko (Geisha), Oiran were courtesans in the old Japan.
Of course here at our studio it is all about Oiran clothing and makeup, to beautify and get your self some really  cool, sexy or cute photos in a traditional environment.

Here`s also some of my photos from our lovely France visit the other day.
These two lovely girls were really friendly and whatever pose they did, they looked fantastic!
